Bobbie Lynn "Coach Weir" is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas DFW Policy Fellow. Coach Weir teaches the Hotel Management Program at local hotels for Richardson High School. She is a recipient of RISD Career Connector Award, JA Dallas Teacher-of-the-Year Award, and Texas Hospitality Educator of the Year. The Texas Education Agency selected Coach Weir to serve on the Tri-Agency Summit/Advisory Committee and previously on the CTE Mentor Training Program.

Coach Weir became a teacher after 15 years of corporate-level business experience with entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies in marketing, management, and business development. She received a four-year scholarship for her BBA in Marketing from Abilene Christian University and a Dual Alternative Teacher Certification in CTE for Business/Marketing from Region XIII in Austin. She has earned a CTE Career Pathways Leadership Certification from National Career Pathways Network.
